Though my husband and I paid a handsome price for our outside wood burner, in two years we were able to get back the money we invested. Moreover, because wood burners are so cost-effective, our electricity bill is so low it’s almost unbelievable!

And since we use our wood burner for our water heaters as well (and solar panels for our other needs), we are almost completely electricity-independent! It feels so good!
